Rasch Performance Horses is located in the quaint little town of Slayden, Tennessee, 45 minutes NW of Nashville. We specialize in preparing young horses for performance horse careers. Evan believes that every horse deserves the best start possible, and the most important training a horse will receive in their lifetime is their foundation.

Evan Rasch

Evan has over 25 years of experience breaking and training performance horses. In his younger years Evan was a professional bull rider competing on the PBR Built Ford Tough Series and at PRCA rodeos. Evan has since retired from bull riding, and in 2011 decided to start training horses full time. His horsemanship skills and strong work ethic have helped to make him into the horseman he is today.
Evan has worked with some of the country's top horsemen such as, Hall of Fame cutting horse trainer Roy Carter, as well as Wyoming natural horseman Tom Wagner. This has helped Evan to create his own training philosophy that is based around a natural approach to horsemanship, with no gimmicks. He focuses on being very thorough when starting each horse and works hard to set each horse up for success.
